And I thought Ivy was just fat!

How could this happen to my little girl? We've had a whirlwind week at Edenbrook trying to adjust to the BIG news that our Ivy is pregnant and going to deliver any day! i spent two nights this week sleeping at the farm and checking on her every 2 hours through the night. No sign of the kids yet!

My friends Laura and Karen, have been great Aunties, and helping me pass the time as we all wait on pins and needles. The billy goat is white and Ivy is black and tan. Hmmm.. . . .I wonder what colors we'll see in the kids.

My family has started a list of possible names for the babies. Blog your suggestions or vote on what we have already! So far the favorites are "Clover", "Lily", "Asparagus", "Edamame", "Annabelle", and "Oakey".

And an update on the horses . . . I have rehomed the whole herd to a new trail riding adventure. A local cowboy came Wednesday and loaded them on the trailer, for continued training and their new job as trail horses. It is a relief to have found them the perfect place. God is so good! I'm taking a break from the big horses until the pond thaws and the weather is above 35. I'm a grumpy farmer when I have to break the ice! Ha.

I'm a bit envious of you out there sunbathing! We too are awaiting a new arrival. I have a llama that we think is due any day, but we been watching for weeks! I guess the race is on...we'll see which one of us has news first! I'm with you in being ready for warm weather for training. We had our first birthday party today--great learning experience! Check out the blog. We'll have to talk again soon.
